Is your school-age child frustrated with every-day tasks such as dressing or writing?
Does your child have a difficult time with noises, textures, or transitions?
Come with your child for a fun-filled, informative 1-hour session.
You'll meet other parents and leave with great ideas to implement right away! Topics Include:
- Promoting Fine Motor Skills In Your Toddler (12 months to 3 years). Tips to use during everyday activities such as play, bath time and eating.
- Tricks for Handwriting Success (5-10 year olds). Learn easy ways to help improve your child's handwriting while keeping it fun.
- Fulfilling Your Child's Sensory Integration Needs (children, all ages). Learn how to create a well-balanced "sensory diet" to help your child better deal with his environment (sounds, touch, transitions, etc).
- Finger-spelling Fun (5-10 year olds). Use sign language to improve hand use.
- Motor Planning with Origami (4-8 year olds). Learn how the ancient art of folding paper can help improve attention, ability to follow directions, sequencing, hand strength and fine motor skills.
Cost per parent-child pair is $35. Additional siblings pay $30/each.
